"Hello, my name is Genevieve. I am a mute swan. My birthday is on the 28 July! I really like dolls and puppets, I plan to make many! Don't forget or I'm coming to hunt you! Hehe,, Just kidding!"
Why did I choose a mute swan and why?
I chose a mute swan for my mascot because their personality and how people sometime see them. They are often portrayed as imitating, or loud obnoxious birds. They take over native bird species and seem super violent right? Well, they are called "mute swans" for a reason, they are actually less vocal than other swans hence the name "mute." They are also are just intimidating, not violent. That's how they win their fights.
Well, what does that have to do with myself?
You see, I say I can do this and this (yes I actually can though), but when it comes to actually doing it, I'll refuse and what I usually say is really just me being imitating and probably is half true. When you see me with my friends you will see me talking a lot or maybe be super energetic, but really I'm probably the quietest in my friend group sometimes. You get it?
I choose my mascot Genevieve because I am a mixture of busy, intimidating and neatness and staying clean!
What does the bird symbolise?
Mute swans (or swans) can be considered a feminine symbol associated with the moon. The swan is also considered a masculine symbol because it associates with Apollo, Greek god of the sun.

There are Mute swans(Cygnus olor), Black swans(Cygnus atratus), the Black-necked swan (Cygnus melanocorypha), Coscoroba swan(Coscoroba coscoroba), Tundra swan(Cygnus columbianus), Trumpeter swan(Cygnus buccinator) and the Whooper swan (Cygnus cygnus).
