Last term in English we read The cay.
The moral of the story that I understood from the themes of the book was "Sometimes you need to trust the person who you despise a little in certain situations."
I give The cay 4.5/5 stars. It was a really good book that touched heavy topics such as racism and the war. But I feel the ending was too empty or un-informative. In my honest opinion, an epilogue would be very nice to have.
